Expert Review
What it is
Our expert reviews are a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to improve your website or application's user experience using
a set of estabilished usability principals. A Fast Usability expert review is actually a combination of an expert review,
a heuristic evaluation, and a cognitive walkthrough.
The formal definition of an expert review is a usability
specialist who reviews your website or application using an internalized set of known standards and personal
expertise. A heuristic evaluation is similar, but much more rigid in the sense that an actual list of known standards
is used during the review process. A cognitive walkthrough has the usability specialist review the most common and
important tasks on your website or application
One of our accredited usability specialists will review your website or application using the principals of an expert
review, heuristic evaluation, and cognitive walkthrough. You will be provided with a document informing you of known
usability issues, suggestions on how to resolve the issues, and the current strengths.

What it is NOT
An expert review does not provide feedback from users in your target demographic. It will not discover
potential demographic-specific issues.
Why it's Helpful
Our expert reviews help smaller projects polish their user experience to the point where you can be confident
when launching your website or application. Larger websites and applications can also find value in this service
when trying to improve their overall user experience.
How much does it Cost
The price of a Fast Usability expert review varies based on the size of the website or application. Just to provide
some sort of answer, though, an average small website of 6-12 pages could expect to pay around $400.
When you place
your order you will be asked to describe the complexity of your application or have your website crawled to determine
the number of pages. This information will determine your price. If your expert review takes much shorter than expected
then you will receive a refund based on the amount overestimated.
